Welcome to Nizma Skincare — where plant-based skincare meets intentional self-care.

I’m Ayan Osman, founder of Nizma Skincare. As a Black woman and proud immigrant from a small village in Uganda, I created this brand with a clear purpose: to celebrate melanin-rich skin and create thoughtful skincare that makes everyday routines feel simple and enjoyable.

Growing up as the youngest of nine siblings, I experienced my own skin concerns throughout my teenage years. That experience inspired me to explore plant-based ingredients and develop a deeper appreciation for caring for my skin with consistency and intention.

Inspired by my upbringing and the resilience of my mother, I launched Nizma Skincare in 2022 here in the Pacific Northwest. Our products feature thoughtfully selected ingredients such as aloe vera, chamomile, rose, lavender, and green tea and are designed to support skin that looks and feels fresh, hydrated, smooth, and cared for.
